Begin constructing the ailerons in home workshop. Organize and check parts list. Assemble hinge bolt nut plates and reinforcing plates to aileron spar. Add spar extensions, compression ribs, rib anchors, rear spar tips. Attached Rib Anchors attached using method described in the Manual. Neither the front nor the rear spars are firmly attached by the Rib Anchors. I assume the structure will be bound together by the fabric but marked areas for reassessment prior to attaching the fabric. Attach levels to ribs and rear spars to ensure aileron is straight and is free of twists.
Install nutplate. Modiified hand held rivet gun to allow positioning it close to the nut plate.
Justine works on ailerons. Tie downs allowed spars to roll on axis aiding construction.
