First crack at using the pneumatic squeezer at dimpling, works fantastic and makes very light work. I took my time and dimpled all the holes I had good access to, need to be very gentle on the trigger, I’d hate to be off a hole and snatch the trigger.
I was also able to use my new close quarters dimpling set, It worked reasonably well, However the stem nails supplied did not do the trick well, the copper was great to start, but the steel nails still couldn’t apply enough pressure to properly form a dimple. I made new die out of a long allen key 3mm bolt, smoother out the threads on the bench grinder and I was able get plenty of pressure form a normal dimple. I also dimpled the hard ones to get to on the ribs for the VS and the HS, so will be ready for some more primer action over the weekend.
