On my last console fit. I positioned the bottom seat supports, drilled cleco holes fore and aft, and then pulled them out. From there, the bottoms are drilled in the center for a nutplate. One is riveted in with countersunk rivets I then assembled them back to the seat bottoms. From here, the seat bottoms are ready to be bonded in. I have one problem. The right one fits really well and requires no shims under the floor bracket. The pilot side however will require a page of about 3/16 - 1/4" to be filled with flox and epoxy. I may make some little spacers to provide the right depth and both them in with the final assemble.
