Brief Description: Set ElectroAir Timing to Top Dead Center
Verified TDC by aligning the upper engine case halves join line to a TDC mark on the inner side of the Toothed Gear. Also verified TDC by compression check with finger while rotating the engine plus using another alignment of TDC mark on the outer side of the toothed gear with a bolt on the starter motor housing. Once that was done, I inserted the MTH into the former Slick mag hole and turned it slightly until the pinned drive gear meshed with the engine gear. Clamped and tightened the MTH hold down clamps to keep TDC secure. Last step was to remove the alignment pin. Next I will verify timing on the Left Slick Mag and then we're ready to run fuel flow tests, change out the storage oil with AeroShell 100 50weight oil and reinstall the intake snorkel permanently.
