EAA held a two day class on Electrical Systems, Wiring, and Avionics in Casselberry Fl which I gladly attended. Instructor was Dick Koehler, who you see often in the EAA online video training clips. Great instructor, and great class. Learned much that I wanted toknow about this phase of my build. We learned how to plan, how to solder D Subs, how to use shrink wrap. (I totally overdid it on shrink wrap, but heck, it was available and I could use the practice.), how to splice, how to install crimped terminal fittings, how to install Molex pins, how to choose wire, how to install antenna bnc connectors, how to splice shield grounds to a 2nd ground wire, how to make a miniature instrument panel that incorporates everything you learned. Two days and well worth it.
