Brief Description:  Mounted AK-450 ELT-5

Here is how I routed the antenna coax from the ELT to the antenna. I used rubber grommets which grip the coax snugly along the way. That helps keep the coax fixed rather than loosely traveling through snap bushings. The horizontal travel will be hidden by the side covers. The vertical rise to the antenna will be visible. The antenna is mounted behind the roll bar and follows the roll bar gentle curve upwards. .5 inch hole, star washer, 3/4 in nut tightened snugly created good ground contact. I left a little extra coax looped by the ELT in case I need to make any new BNC connection. The bulkhead holes won't allow any BNC to fit through. Just the coax fits.
