My lovely wife is fully supportive of my project. I've only been talking about it for 10 years now, and it definitely helps that she is a pilot also. But she does have one request, and that is to be able to park her mini-van in the garage while the project is in work - especially in the winter time. So, like many other builders in the past, I'm going to try and do this project in one-half of a two-car garage. In figuring the layout, I kept my old bench/tool chest I built years ago, and I'm very comfortable with the available space for the empennage and wings. I might have to do some bargaining (or begging) when it comes time for the fuselage...that's a ways down the road, though...
