-The plans call to make two hardwood or partical board spacer exactly 1.438 inches thick to bolt on the outboard portion between the fwd and aft center section spars. I elected to use some 1/4' tubing and washers instead. Took awhile to cut and fit washers for the four temp bolts, all exactly 1.438 inches. Wish I had a nice mini mill/lathe....
-Joined the two center section subassemblies with the temp spacers and final drilled all the #30 holes on the top plate, and all the #40 holes for nutplate attachment.
