-Started on the Landing gear box (commonly called the landing gear towers) assemblies this evening. These are where the landing gear attach to the fuselage and they are heavy duty!! This is a unique feature on the RV-8. Most RVs (RV-3, RV-4, RV-6, RV-7) all use whittman style tubular gear that attach to the engine mount and trail back.
-Fluted the flange on the fore and aft bulkhead that frame the gear towers on the living room coffee table -- they're nice and flat now.
-Started to edge debur everything. These are somewhat thick parts that take a little more finishing. Got one part done before calling it a night.
