Again, becuase of accessability, I decided to some cockpit painting before installing the side skins. I had purchased several types of Rustoleum paint and painted up some test pieces. In the end, the wife and I agreed the nicest was the Sandstone Textured finish for interior, and the dark Brown Hammered finish for the instrument panel. Cleaned everything and spent awhile taping up everything I didn't want painted, to include the stainless firewall in the front baggage area, and went to town with spray bombs. It actually turned out quite nice, and from reports of several users this textured paint holds up very well, plus if needed, it's a breeze to touch-up.
