Brief Description: Left Flap #12 - riveting still...
After drilling out the rivets and removing the bracket, I bucked all the rivets that hold the inboard end rib on. It took some creative bucking to get the rivets at the very trailing edge done.
A long time ago my Dad had given me several odd pieces of metal and told me they would make good bucking bars for odd places. Well, they came in handy tonight, because the standard bars I got with the rivet gun set sure wouldn't have cut it.
After touching up some primer, I once again riveted on the flap actuator bracket over the end rib. I then blind riveted the internal ribs to the spar like the plans said, then riveted the bottom skin and hinge to the spar.
Started to buck the top skin to the spar, but had to shut down for the night to help with the boys...
