Brief Description: Right Flap #10 - Riveted / Finished
Riveted the right flap together. This went much smoother since I was applying the lessons learned from the left flap. The right flap came out nice and straight and lays nice and flat. The left one has just a little bit of twist in it. After building the left one, I've read some posts that talked about the secret to a nice flat flap is to save the line of rivets along the bottom of the spar that attaches the hinge to the flap for last, and to lay the flap on flat surface and weight it down big time before cleckoing/riveting that line. It sure worked on the right flap. I might even consider drilling out that line of rivets on the left flap and try it again with the weight on it. But that will have to be later....I'm itching to get started on a wing!!
I AM DONE ASSEMBLING ALL FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES!!!!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!!
