Brief Description: Rt Wing #30 - Flap install and shimming
Installed the nut plate for the screw that will hold down the flap hinge pins. Cut and bent the hinge pins, only to find out when I was done that I cut one of the hinge pins too short! Oh well, at least thats a cheap fix, unfortunately I have to order another hinge pin.
Made the shims to go in between the aileron gap seal and the top skin. This will gradually raise the skin so it's not so abrubt and creates tension where the aileron and flap meet. After all the filing and shaping, drilling, deburring, and dimpling of the shims, I primed them, then clecoed them into place before calling it a night.
