Brief Description:  Began work on Vertical Stab

After thinking about it, it seemed to make sense to prepare more parts and do all my priming at once. I know I'm nervous about setting up and priming mainly due to being inexperienced in the process. First, I want it done right, and second, I don't want to waste any of the AFS primer/sealer I paid good money for. So, I will be studying the matter a little further and preparing myself a little better. In the meantime, I will continue to fabricate!

The vertical stab (VS) seems pretty easy after doing the HS. It's amazing how quickly you become adept at reading these plans. At first they seem confusing, but then once it all clicks, it's incredible how complete and throrough they are.

I clekoed the rear VS spar and hinges together, then edge deburred and fluted the VS ribs, Then I clekoed the entire VS skeleton together and began to drill out the holes.

My work in the garage was then abruptly ended in order to aid in the playing with, feeding, bathing, and tucking in of the dynamic duo....
