Brief Description:  Finished prep of HS parts

Returned home today from a 6 day trip to Langley AFB, VA. Was eager to get some work done on the plane.

Finally finished deburring and dimpling all the holes in the right HS skin. Then set about edge deburring all parts of the horizontal stab. The ribs were already edge deburred prior to the fluting process. I found the best way to do it was my 2 inch scotchbrite wheel on my die-grinder.

I then went over all the parts and prepped them with a scotchbrite pad for the etching and priming process. I'm going to use the AFS Primer/Sealer on all the structure parts, but I still need to devise a good way of doing it in my garage without making a huge mess. I'm not going to prime the skin as a whole, I will probably just touch up any scratches on the internal skin with a self-etcching primer from a spray can.

I'm not looking too forward to the priming part of this project...I may just go ahead and start all the work on the VS and other parts, then do all of the etching and priming at one time....we'll see...
