Quick call to Dynon support. The installation instructions call for the wrong size drill bit. Using a 1/2 bit will not allow the .563 boss (on the back side of the static port) to fit through. They will change the instructions to reflect the right size bit.
I used a 1/2" bit and expanded the hole until the boss slipped in.
The hole is 41" aft of the cockpit sills rear corner.
