Brief Description:  Test fit wings

Thanks to Andy, Bob, Larry, and Dave. I appreciate your help test fitting the wings. Can't imagine doing that alone.

Test fitting the wings assures that the spar box and root hole are in the right location. Although I measured carefully and cut accurately, the bottom line is that the wing roots don't fit in the holes and the trailing edge of both wings is well above the root. so, the spar box is too high in the rear. This means that the rudder guides which are sitting on the floor, need fewer washers. This will lower the back of the spar box. It will also change the hole location and require the root hole be expanded aft. Not a huge deal, but extra work while I'm still an airplane building rookie.

Future builders, I'd suggest (adding this in September after more experience and several wing test fitting sessions) NOT drilling the spar box holes in the root until you are sure the wings will fit. The good news is that if your holes are in the wrong place, you can fix it. Also, don't sweat a root hole that is a bit oversized. the spar box is the structural piece, not the hole.

I just had to fill holes with epoxy and flox, expand wing root holes, test fit the wings again, and THEN set the box. This worked great and eventually, my wings fit just right.
