Completed the center section bringing the thickness aft. Once again, I applied 8 layers to this section. BTW, I was right, this was a messy job. That's why I put it off so long. I think this is actually the first task that turned out worse than I expected. Other things I put off weren't nearly as bad as anticipated.
At least there was no itching. I guess it's because the strands are so large. #SilverLining
