Brief Description:  Brake lines

Cut brake lines to final length and begin to locate the parking brake. Torque seal on all nuts in the pedal assembly and brake lines that have been tightened for the final time. Tourque seal is just a colered, rubbery substance that is striped across the nut and bolt to indicate the bolt has been tightened or torqued for the final time. It help during inspection by allowing you to know that this particular nut is tight and does not need to be checked. If the torque seal line is broken, that indicates that the nut has loosened. Once again, good inspection tool. Eventually, all nut/bolts should have torque seal.

It's probably not a standard practice to add torque seal to brake line fittings, but it helps me know what I have and have not yet done.
