Who knew Dave was alergic to vinyl? Thankfully, Dave did. While I worked on the tires and tubes, Dave tried not to die. Good news, success on both tasks.
Install tube and tire on main wheel.
The wheel is two parts (inner and outer) held together by bolts. Once the wheel is separated, the tube can be placed into the tire with a little air to hold it in position. Then, the wheel is assembled around the tire. Easier to do than the lawn tractor tires.
Nw that the main gear is installed, the plane is much more mobile than it was on the sawhorses.
