Fabricate left inner boot bracket. The kit contains a piece of aluminum to make the brackets. The longer cut out is for the inner bracket and the shorter one is for the outer bracket. I had some spare strapping that I bent as a template. You don't want to bend aluminum back and forth, it will snap. Once happy with the fit of the template, I cut and bent the inner bracket. This was easier than I thought it would be; another task I have been putting off because I thought it would be a nightmare. I probably didn't need the template.
You can see that I also upgraded the foam tube to a rolled up towel. Turns out duct tape doesn't stick very well to rubber tires. The towel is mpre stable.
