OMG!!!
To calibrate the fuel sensors, the tanks must begin empty, then add 5 gallons of fuel at a time while entering each 5 gallon increment into the EFIS.
This is where another Dynon glitch bit me. After calibrating the left tank (on the left EFIS), I thought it would be easier to enter the right tank info into the right EFIS. Unfortunatelly, the left screen didn't tell the right screen about the left tank calibration. (The Dynon software glitch is associated with the single screen failure Reversion Mode.)
Anyway, this boild down to me needing to recalibrate both tanks. I will also admit that I made a mistake during the first left wing calibration, so the 1st one was actually done twice. Oh, and the battery died during the first right wing calibration, so I lost that one too. All said, I think I calibrated 6 times before both tanks were calibrated. That made a long, smelly day of fueling and off loading the fuel.
