I sanded the piece of balsa wood to match the curvature of the empanage then bonded them together. Then, I floxed the antenna to the flat wood. I monuted it as far back as I could reach to keep it 2 feet from other antennas. I'm running out of possibilities. Lots of antennas in this plane. Eight, I think. Two comms, one nav, two GPS, ELT, ADSB, and transponder. Hopefully, the ELT will never be needed.
