Sand the trailing edge of the ridder straight and smooth. Prep all low spots with filler. Once dry, sand entire rudder. Getting close to priming many of the smaller pieces.
While epoxying the elevator trim tab together, the top curved down because of the clamp pressure. To remedy this, I set the trim tab level and mixed up a thin micro-balloon mixture which would self level. The curve was about 1/4" deep; too deep for body filler. I poured the micro mixture into the curve and left it to cure. The result was pretty good. Most of the curve is gone. It's now about 1/16 - 1/8" deep. GEPO.
