Changed the landing gear from Cub type to the old style wood gear.Purchased the old axel print from Don Pietenpol and ordered 5- 6x12 16 gage sheet steel to make fittings, 6ft 1-1/4. 120 steel tube, 2- 3/4x.035 4ft steel tube, 4- 1x 23/4 spruce from Aircraft Spruce. I fabricated the steel parts for the landing gear out of 12 and 16 gauge sheet steel as per the drawing from Pietenpol changing the size to fit my newer long fuselage.
