Brief Description:  Rear deck window

I guess it's about time to install the rear window while waiting for the Cowl.
As far as I know all the work has been completed in the rear of the plane so I can close it in.
It was a lot easier to work in the back without the window in the way.
All I have to do back there now is put on the panels after the final inspection.
They have to be able to see all the controls and cables to make sure everything is working properly.
Image 2 is the flat piece of the window material.
You have to bend it into place and then put the screws in to hold it.
The screws are still loose and will be snugged up after I put sealant between it and the aluminum skin.
It's a little scary the first time you have to bend it and try to get it into place. They warn you not to do it when it is to cold out.
Lucky for me it is usually warm here in Florida.

I hope to soon be able to show you the progress with the cowl because right now there are things I need to do but can't till I get it.
I was told I would have it in April and now it is the middle of August and still nothing!!!
They keep saying they are working on it.

Stay tuned for the next chapter !
