Made and mounted a cover plate with 6 screws to cover holes in the firewall. This is where the cabin heat will be installed later. I want to get the plane done and flying before I work on this. The main thing is to get it inspected and in the air and then I will have time for some of the extra options. Image 2 I have made the hole to install a canopy lock. Sorry the pictures are so dark. Image 3 the lock is installed and now I have to make a part for the canopy to latch it. You don't want people to be fooling with things in the plane when you are not around.
