Not getting any reading for the rpm so I traced the wire hook-up and the Dynon screen settings and found out that one wire going into the firewall forward connector was in the wrong hole. These pins are like computer terminals and it is very hard to see the numbers and which hole it goes into. The number is between two holes and if you don't triple check it from the end of the plug you can easily get it wrong. Once that was corrected it workied perfectly and says it is getting 830 rpm at idle. Leaving on vacation tomorrow so no progress till I get back.
