Brief Description: Took time off to fly a friends RV-12
I was invited to meet and visit with Al & Brenda to check out Brenda's RV-12 and I couldn't turn them down. Brenda did most of the building and it is a great airplane. I am building the same plane with the same engine as they have so I will know exactly what to expect when mine is done. I need 3 hours flight time for insurance and this worked out perfectly. Peg and I had a nice relaxing short vacation and met other hanger friends Shayne and Phyllis who have a CH601 and a CH650. I got to fly with Phyllis in the Corvair powered CH650 that they built and is a nice plane Sorry didn't get any photos of that plane. Everyone was wonderful and took us places to eat and do some sight seeing which we really appreciated . It was good to get a break from the building and from work with the phone ringing all the time. Now I'm dreading getting home and having to catch up on work that is waiting and customers with all kinds of emergencies.
