Though it is Sunday, I wanted to work on the fiberglass air inlet ramps so they would set up overnight. I cleaned and trimmed the previous days work and made paper templates for the side pieces needed to fill in the sides. I had some left over fiberglass from my head liner and cut it to the templates. They were then taped into place, 2 layers of BID was added to the backside and the complete unit was clecoed in place till it cures. I have four more pieces to manufacture and epoxy into place before I smooth it all out with fairing complound. It is unfortunate that these two pieces of "art" will not be seen unless the top cowling is removed.
