Today I shaped the right cabin door horizontal to accept the Master Carr door seal. The outside was treated with four strips of fiberglass, toped off with clean peel and given time to cure before I finished it with cabosil. Using a Dremmel 1/2" sanding wheel wheel really helped shape the lip fairly quickly. Still a messy job but necessary to get a good fit on the seal. With the right door rough work complete, I roughed up the left lower cabin door horizontal and added four layers of BID fiberglass topped off with clean peel. Next step is to mark 1/4" gap around the door and remove that material.
