Overall, the door mechanism is assembled, disassembled and reassembled 5 times. Actually, getting rather good at it. I installed all the rods and established the door mechanism gear timing. Next I installed the door and pointed the fuselage holes. Those holes were drilled to 5/16. The door mechanism was disassembled once again and the latch rods were shortened to accept the Plane Around pins. After getting it all back together, the door was rehung and a final fit was made. The pins extend 1/2 inch through the fuselage side channels. Tomorrow, I will install the fuselage guide pins.
