I found push tube interference at the rod joint aft of the battery and adjusted it. I also set the autopilot control arm to provide clearance from its stop. Once it was all adjusted, the elevator "down" touched its stop at 22° (spec 20°-25°) and the the elevator "up" came in at 29° (spec is 25°-30°). All fasteners were torqued and sealed. Elevators done. I started to install the elevator trim mechanism. I used plastic 3/8 toilet water supply lines to lead the cables through the horizontal stabilizer and elevator. Once the cables were routed, the 3/8 water line was discarded.
