Today was bitter sweet. I replaced my Andair fuel pump and filter with an Air Flow Performance (AFP) pump and filter. A fellow builder suggested I look at the pump GPH and consider worse case scenario. The Andair pump maxed out at 16GPH and looking at my dyno report, the plane could call for up to 25-26... So I decided to upgrade to the AFP setup. Their pump max is 32 GPH. Because the pump is new style, The original cradles would not work as planned so I built a little platform to mount the pump and filter, allowing me to insulate under them. That worked out great. All the parts were alumipreped, alodined and primed with 2 part epoxy paint. I also changed out the main line from the fuel selector to the filter with one from TSFlightlines..
