Brief Description:  SCAT Tube Installed

Finished installing the SCAT tubes. On the left side I installed a clamp on #2 inlet tube and a matching clamp on the SCAT. On the left heat muff, I added a 90° fitting to clear the fuel line and clean up the routing a bit. I added "high temp" RED RTV #26 on the SCAT runs to help retain it shape over time. I also decided to add a spring to the oil cooler air valve. This spring will push the valve in the MAX open position should the valve control arm ever come loose. Only took an hour and is a good safety feature. I also added insulation to the sides of the fuselage. It will be much easier to add the insulation now rather then after the wire is installed. On the forward side walls the insulation is thicker then the wire supporting brackets. When I installed these two pieces, I used an electric knife to remove about 3/8" in the center of the insulation leaving the 1/4" black moisture barrier in tact.
