Started the engine baffles today. Was good to get back to working with aluminum. I pre-assembled the baffle for the left aft corner (cly #6) and made the oil cooler bracket. I cut the hole for the three upper left side spark plugs with a 3/4 unibit and then removed the material between them. Kris helped me cut the 4" oil cooler hole using the bench drill and fly cutter. All parts were deburred, hit with scotch bright, alumipreped and alodined. Still not sure if I am going to paint or not. I have heard pros and cons .... Bottom line.... It is ok just to stop with alodine.7
