After riveting a few more doublers on to the side baffles, I started the task of getting them to fit. Vans indicated there would be some "trimming" required...and they were correct. I used my Dremel with my 1/2" sanding wheel...worked great. The instructions said to remove the aft engine lift loop and install the rear center baffle bracket. I found that I could add the bracket, using the same hardware and leave the loop in place. Even if I have to remove the bracket when I use the loop to lift the engine, I will at least know where it is. So I spent the majority of the day adjusting the baffles to fit nicely. More baffle work tomorrow.
