After installing the lower gear, I spent the afternoon assembling the MATCO brakes. A few weeks ago, I took the two fairing support brackets to Bill, a fellow builder and used his 20 ton press to make an offset in each bracket granting relief to the 90° AN brake line elbow. When I went to install the MATCO specific spacer sleeve, I noticed it interfered with one of the four main bracket bolts. I granted relief here by sanding out a little radius notch (which is just extra material) After it was complete, I called MATCO tech support "Andy Greene" to verify others have had similar problems and that mine was not unique. I sent him some photos and he will talk with George (owner) and get back with me tomorrow. I want them to validate my observation and approve my solution or make me some more parts. I believe it is acceptable.
