Brief Description:  Cabin door fit up

Today I started to fit the cabin doors to the fuselage. Vans directions are well written...but there is so much work for so few words. I found a sanding block to use for the windows, but it worked very well smoothing the fiberglass edges. It is called "fast break" and can be found at Menards. I also used 1 1/4 inch reinforced cutting disks in my Dremel tool. Two disks are needed for each door but are very controllable leading to great accuracy. As I trimmed the window and sides, I was very happy with only finding a couple voids between the two shells I epoxied together to form the door. Some builders have found major voids and suggested builders apply cabosil on both surfaces...which is what I did...and it worked great. The couple small voids I did have will be filled with cabosil by syringe. I only got the right door rough cut and plan to continue on it tomorrow.
