Brief Description:  Right side wire cover

I plan to run wiring on the right side of the aircraft as well as the left. Vans has a nice setup (wire guide brackets and covers) for the left side but offer nothing for the right. I took time today to duplicate the items they provide for the left side for the right side. Had they offered the parts for sale, it would have saved me a few hours. I made them out of the same 2024-T3 aluminum and once they were manufactured, you really can't see an difference. I also drilled the 1/2 inch hole for the P27 solenoid wire in the firewall. I called Vans because the barrel of the fitting on the P27 wire is 9/16. No way can I get it through a 1/2 inch hole. They suggested I drill what I need and then fill with RTV. He said the firewall is not a structural member and it will be OK. What I decided to do is remove their lug, run the wire through the hole and swedge another lug. Once the solenoid is wired, I will put a little RTV on the back to prevent fumes from seeping into the cabin. I received the swedging tools and lugs from Stein Air the other day.
