Brief Description: Left aileron initial fit up and jigs manufactured.
Spent several hours cleaning clecos from the fuel tank final assembly. After cleaning the shop and getting rid of all the paper covering the workbench, I was able to get back to assembly. I started by making six individual jigs to hold the leading edge of both the ailerons and flaps. After the blocks were made, I started the initial assembly of the left aileron leading edge. It fit nicely in the jig. (Sure is nice to get away from the pro-seal for a while). The fuel tanks will cure for a few days and then I will install the fuel level sending units. Once they are shaped, they will be removed and the back of the fuel tank can be installed. I plan to wait about two weeks after the back is installed before I test the tank for leaks...giving the pro-seal a good opportunity to cure.
