Brief Description: Still looking at wing loading issues
The Minister for travel & finance has arranged for us to head off to the other side of the planet for a few weeks later this month, so I have spent time cleaning up the workshop and getting ready for the visit by the Aeronuatical Design Engineer.
Also decided to place strengthening angles 3/4 X 3/4 X 1/16 inch inside the 2 stringer channels closest to the spars (both top & bottom stringers), so 4 lengths 8 ft long that run from rib 11 out to rib 4.
At this stage I have just sat them there and will only drill & install if the engineer is OK with that.
Hopefully this will be the only extra wing strengthening that I will do. Will have to wait & see.
If I get time before leaving just after the Engineers visit, I will post his recomendations then, otherwise, will probably not get back here until later in March
