Wasted a lot of time over recent days solving minor wiring hiccups and lighting of the Audio Panel
My Frustrations with Northern Airborne Technologies, the Canadian outfit that manufactured the Audio Panel that I chose to install.
All I want is the small printed circuit board with the wheat grain 14v lights instead of the 28 v bulbs.
Yep, they have about 30 instock, Can I buy one from them?.... NO
I must go through a recognised Avionic parts supplier who wants to charge me an arm & a leg or two for this little PCB, plus $100.00 freight. For this part alone, $261.00 Aussie!!!
Somewhere in my reasearch and phone calls a price of about $16.00 US for the PCB was mentioned.!!!
Does anybody out there know anyone at NAT?
This PCB is about 1 inch X 4 inch and would weigh a couple of grams.
