Brief Description:  flap actuator rod

After a 3 month break, we got back into the hangar today. We were going to work on the compass swing and align the D10A remote compass but the weather did not cooperate, the winds were 220/25G46 Kts! Too windy to even open the hangar doors let alone try to do the alignment process.
So we started reviewing the Service Bulletins and realized that we hadn't done the SB concerning the Electric Flap Bearing Retention. The SB calls for a safety wire to secure in the place the electric flap actuator rod end.We were able to drill the required hole and install the safety wire.
We also swapped out the tail wheel steering mechanism with one that has a built in tiedown.
We also filed down the rudder stops on both sides so to decrease interference and wear on the rudder cables.
