We borrowed some scales yesterday, today we completed the initial weight and balance of the aircraft. It is a little heavier than we thought it would be but not unexpected due to the 360 engine and the Sensenich propeller that is 26 pounds heavier than the old wooden prop that we had. We were concerned that being a tail dragger it might have an aft C of G problem at light fuel loads and some weight in the baggage area but it turned out OK. We are just tidying up some loose ends. Still have do do a compass swing, align the dynon compass and do a full power run up.
