First day back after about 3 months, worked on replacing the tail wheel assembly to one that has more clearance. We bought a Screaming Eagle retrofit Tailwheel fork and a double sided control arm from Flyboy Accessories. It raises the tail up ever so slightly and provides a better angle so the tail wheel has a lesser chance of getting caught on something (grass strip). We also replaced the bushings at the bottom of the control sticks with two new ones, and lubed them up using Aeroshell 7 grease, this makes for a smoother operation of the control stick.
