Brief Description:  Repeat engine run

We were able to borrow a tool that measures RPM so we can cross check our RPM instrument in the cockpit. After another full power run up we determined that the RPM gauge is accurate and still only getting 2070 RPM for a max power static run up.
Both magnetoes seem to be performing well, we have good gas and the engine is getting lots of air, so what's the problem.
After lengthy discussion with Vito, Glen and myself, we decided to consult the FAA home page and also the Sensenich propeller website.
So it turns out that with our engine, an 0-363 A4A, combined with a Sensenich propeller model of
72FM8S9-1-85, that the max static RPM available is between 2050-2250. So we are in the ballpark. The propeller that we have is a cruise prop with a 85 degree pitch, so it makes sense that it will not give as high a RPM if we had a more fine pitched prop.
