Riveted aft flange of root rib E-905 to E-1007 Rear Spar. Riveted E-921 Elevator Gusset to E-905 Root Rib. COULD NOT GET A GOOD PURCHASE OF THE RIVET SET TO THE RIVET HEAD AND JUST MUSHED OUT THE HEADS. Removed the AN470AD4-4's and replaced them with LP4-3's. Another thing that had been bothering me was the fact that the aftmost MK2000-3 nutplate mounting holes for the outboard static wick was way too close to the end of the E-903 Rib flange and there was no support for the nut part of the nutplate. Therefore, I removed the aftmost mount holes and flange of the E-903's and fabricated a pair of flange extensions to be riveted on to the E-903's and to accept the aftmost MK2000-3 nutplate. (See photos) Riveted Tip rib assembly to left elevator and completed closing out of skins. This is as far as I will go on the elevators themselves and will not attach the E-1023 trailing edge or foam trailing edge ribs until after inspection.
