Fabricated "Hat" mount for VOR/OMNI antenna out of .040 aluminum and drilled #40 holes in VS-1006 for it. Will have to redrill to #30 and use LP4-3 blind rivets to mount after riveting VS-1006 to VS-1001, otherwise I will not have any clearance to reach the rivets for VS-1006. Measured and marked both sides of VS-1001 as shown in order to clear antenna. Drilled two new rivet holes 1/2" from new edges to replace holes on cut line shown. Cut and deburred VS-1001 as shown.
