Brief Description: Laid out ribs and prepped flap and aileron hinges.
1. Laid out all ribs on work table in correct order for right wing.
2. Drilled out aileron and flap hinges to accept brass bushings and pressed in bushings. I used a drill press for drilling and a small c-clamp to press in bushings. I also deburred all hinge arms and doublers.
3. Set each hinge and doubler on the appropriate rib and clecoed them in place. Then I drilled each rib using the hinge arm as a drill guide.
4. Once all ribs were drilled I remove the Clecos and deburred all hinges and ribs--both sides.
5. I soaked each identification tag with paint thinner. After about 3 to 5 minutes.the tag peels right off and the glue comes right up with a paper towel.
